Large crowds at Protest March
Up to a thousand people took to the streets of Boyle this afternoon to protest at the implementation of water charges.
The march commenced on Shop Street and went out by Christ the King junction, over Abbey Terrace, in Military Road and Main Street before stopping at the office of Deputy Frank Feighan on Bridge Street.
The protest concluded on the Crescent where many people voiced their concern and annoyance at the water charges.
