Boyle GAA Ladies club held a prizegiving ceremony on Saturday evening 13th in the Clubrooms.
Medals were presented to the under 15 Sean Daly memorial cup winners by Paddy Daly while Roscommon player and Boyle clubman Sean Purcell presented medals to the u14 girls, winners of Division 1 B county final.
Chairman of the ladies club Noel Scally welcomed everyone present, especially the Daly family, Paddy, Monica and Geraldine.
He thanked the five teams that took part in the Sean Daly competition – Kilmore, St. Michael’s, Elphin, Western Gaels and Boyle.
Special praise was also given to the management team of Eugene Sheerin, Tom Kearney and Vincent Flanagan.
Noel thanked sponsors Joe Simon Ltd, Brogans Pharmacy and Tom and Deirdre Kearney.
A presentation was also made to the four members of Boyle GAA ladies club who were members of the Roscommon team that reached the All Ireland final- Aine Mullins, Sinead Glennon, Ruth Cox and Roisin Wynne.
In conclusion Noel thanked Corrib Oil for the after ceremony food which was enjoyed by all present.
