A public meeting of the Co. Roscommon Joint Policing Committee will take place at 7.00pm on Wednesday December 12th 2018 in the Fortfield Suite, Abbey Hotel, Roscommon
All members of the public are invited to attend this public meeting.
The Joint Policing Committee was established under the Garda Síochána Act 2005 and includes elected members of Roscommon County Council, Oireachtas Members, Garda representatives, representatives from the community and voluntary sector and officials of Roscommon County Council.
The function of the Committee is to serve as a forum for consultations, discussions and recommendations on matters affecting the policing of the local authority’s administrative area.
Members of the public have the right to attend the meeting, to have their views heard and to put questions to the committee which should be submitted in writing in advance of the meeting.
