Boyle Gardai are investigating the theft of €3000 worth of tools from a shed in Assylinn.
The forced entry took place between 10pm Wednesday night and 10am Thursday morning.
A number of industrial tools were taken including an angle grinder, log splitter, cement mixer and chainsaw.
A spokesperson for Boyle Gardai told Boyletoday.com that the thieves would have needed transport to take away the tools.
They are appealing to anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity or vehicles in the general Assylinn/Mockmoyne area on Wednesday night or Thursday morning to contact them on 071 966 4620
