The heavy rains of the last week and in particular Sunday night have led to flooding in many areas around Boyle.
The N61 Boyle to Roscommon road had flash flooding Monday morning and was the subject of warnings by AA Roadwatch.
With more rains forecast the situation is set to worsen.
