Drug Grow House discovered in Boyle
A man has been remanded in custody to Harristown Court on Friday June 9th following the discovery of a drug grow house on the Carrick Road in Boyle.
The Divisional Drugs Unit supported by Boyle Gardai conducted a raid on the house over the weekend and discovered Cannabis with an estimated street value of €60,000.
Two people were arrested and one male aged in his late twenties was brought before a special sitting of Carrick on Shannon court on Sunday.
He was charged with possession of drugs for sale and supply and was remanded in custody to Harristown Court.
In a separate and unrelated incident, a car was stolen from the Plains area of Boyle between 9pm Saturday night and 3am Sunday morning.
The 02 black Audi was discovered in the Carrick on Shannon area on Sunday.
