Gardai are seeking the assistance of the public following an aggravated burglary in County Sligo on Saturday morning.
The incident happened at Carickbanagher around 2.30am when an elderly woman was allegedly attacked by a male intruder in her home.
In particular, Gardai are seeking assistance from anyone who travelled on the N4 between Collooney and Drumfin between 1am and 3.30am on Saturday morning and noticed anything suspicious.
Any motorist on the N4 or general Drumfin area on the night and who seen any suspicious vehicle or persons are asked to contact Sligo Garda Station on 071 915 7000 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
