GAA
GAA nursery programme commences
The Boyle GAA club nursery programme commenced on Monday night in the Sports Complex.
Over 50 children and 12 coaches enjoyed an hour of fun based activities aimed at improving a range of movement including coordination, agility, balance and jumping.
The children also develop ball manipulation skills through play and activity which includes throwing, catching, passing, kicking and striking.
The programme follows the nationally developed GAA Fun Do Nursery programme and will run in two blocks.
Block One runs from 17th October to 5th December and Block Two will commence in February 2017.
