Funding available for local live performances
Roscommon County Council invites proposals for new outdoor and indoor live performances in County Roscommon during 1st May to 30th June 2022.
Rhona McGrath, Arts Officer, explained: “This scheme, funded through the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, is to support employment and wellbeing in the arts and culture sectors through the provision of live performances by professional artists, musicians, crew and other professionals involved in live performances for the period to June 2022. It is one of many supports by the Department and by Roscommon County Council to support the recovery of the live performance sector. We are especially interested in new events with potential for scaling up and delivering annually and also events at some of our newly developed outdoor performance spaces.”
