Boyle based TD Frank Feighan was not among those who were promoted to the Junior Ministry ranks today by An Taoiseach Enda Kenny.
Frank had been hotly tipped by many for a Junior Minister role.
Ballymote TD John Perry has lost his small business ministry while Ballaghaderreen’s John O’Mahoney was also overlooked for promotion.
Previously, Frank’s name had been mentioned in connection with the position of Ceann Comhairle but last weeks announcement’s in the Cabinet reshuffle did not change the Ceann Comhairle position.
