Roscommon Gardai are seeking witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision that took place on the N63 on Monday night.
A 68 year old woman was pronounced dead at the scene of the three car crash at Kilteevan Cross, approximately 3k outside Roscommon on the Lanesboro Road at approximately 9.45pm.
The deceased was removed to Roscommon University Hospital morturary while the drivers of the other two vehicles were brought to Portiuncla and Tullamore Hospitals.
The road remained closed overnight as crash scene investigators conducted an investigation.
