Boyle Municipal district is to get €6.6m for road maintenance following agreement of the County’s Budgetary Plan and Road Works Scheme for 2015.
Boyle is to get the biggest spend with Roscommon Municipal District and Athlone following .
Close on €14m will be spent by Roscommon Co Co on the upkeep and maintenance of the county’s roads.
There was concern by members from Athlone and Roscommon that Boyle got nearly twice the amount of Athlone and Roscommon in total.
