A cheque presentation took place on Thursday night in Daly’s Bar in Boyle.
Four organisations received cheques from Curlieu Wheelers Cycling Club, proceeds of the recent Lough Key Classic cycling sportive that was held in the town.
The four organisations were:
- Boyle Tidy Towns
- Boyle Scouts
- Brothers of Charity
- North West Stop
Club chairman Declan Noone thanked all those who made the Lough Key Classic such a successful event again this year and said the club was delighted to be in a position to support the four organisations. Declan also thanked all the club sponsors including Daly’s Drinks who supplied food at the presentation.
