An Bord Pleanala are due to give their decision on October 3rd in a case involving the former Stewarts Mill in Mocmoyne, Boyle.
Roscommon County Council have requested the planning board to decide whether the change of use from the production of grain and maize products to a whiskey distillery at the Mill is or is not development or is or is not exempted development.
The case has been referred because the works affect a protected structure.
Production of feed products at the Mill ceased in 2014.
