Daffodil Day was held Friday 29th.
Daffodil Day started in 1988 and has been an annual event since then for the Irish Cancer Society.
While the Irish Cancer Society has several sources of income, Daffodil day is their single largest fundraising event by income. The money raised by the Irish Cancer Society is spent on research, providing information, support and services, increasing cancer awareness and keeping cancer at the top of the Government agenda.
