Cultural Companions Programme at King House

The Cultural Companions Programme returns for 2024, kicking off at King House in Boyle on August 28th.

Supported by Roscommon Creative Ireland funding, the programme aims to enhance engagement with the arts among older audiences and will feature a series of daytime events across the county, taking place at renowned cultural venues such as King House, Trinity Arts Centre, and Strokestown Park.

The programme will showcase talented performers from Roscommon and neighbouring counties, offering a diverse range of entertainment options for older audiences.

Events will include drama, music, and social dancing, with ticket prices capped at a maximum of €5 for older people.

Wednesday August 28th – Three Fat Women of Antibes – Drama by Julie Sharkey

Wednesday October 2nd – Harp and Song by Claire Roche

Wednesday October 16th – Donie O’Connor in Concert

Wednesday October 30th – Piano Recital by Lenny Chen
