Pure Mule cycle this Saturday
Following last Saturday’s stationary cycle in Carrick on Shannon, this Saturday sees the much anticipated cycling sportive “Pure Mule” take place.
“Pure Mule” is the final event of 2015 local cycling sportive calendar and is open to all cyclists with two routes in operation, 100k and 60k.
All proceeds raised will go towards suicide prevention.
The cycle will start from the Leitrim Marina Hotel in Leitrim village on Saturday 10th October with the 100k riders setting off at 12 noon and the 60k riders at 2pm.
Registration will open an hour before the start of each event.
Refreshments and food will be available mid cycle and after.
Two Boyle men are involved in organising the cycle, Brian McMahon and Eamon Flanagan and apart from it being a good cause, it would be great to see as many Boyle cyclists as possible turn up on the day.
Pure Mule would not be possible without the kind support of Sligo Haulage and Distribution who are the main sponsors, ED Printing Longford and Penny’s Longford, Leitrim Marina Hotel, Tesco Ltd and an Garda Siochana.
A full “thank you” list will issued following the event.
