Cootehall N.S. in Junior Entrepreneur Competition
Pupils from Cootehall National school are taking part this year in the Junior Entrepreneur Competition.
A number of pupils in 5th and 6th class have been setting up a business as part of the competition.
According to a spokesperson for the school: “Our business is a memory card game of the national road signs. Our aim is to provide a fun way of learning the national road signs for pedestrians, cyclists and drivers. This game is also great for anyone practising for their theory test”.
“Our game retails for €10.00 with proceeds going to the class pupils and a donation to Brothers of Charity Children’s services”.
“We are having a showcase event in our school this Friday March 6th from 1.30pm to 3.00pm with a slide show presentation from some of the pupils at 2pm and all are welcome to attend”.
