Connaught Rangers ‘Memorial Tablets’
The Connaught Rangers Association, who are based in King House in Boyle, took delivery of a number of memorial tablets on Thursday morning.
The tablets list the names of the 126 men from Boyle and it’s environs who lost their lives in the Great War.
The tablets will be erected in the Remembrance Room in King House.
It is hoped to have the official launch of the Remembrance Room in November 2018 at which family members of many of the 126 who died, will attend.
The memorial tablets were purchased by the Connaught Rangers Association with the kind assistance of Roscommon County Council.
