Boyle/Castlerea Community Policing Unit wish to extend a very BIG THANK YOU to some very special people in the wonderful community of Boyle….
To the staff and students of Boyle Parochial School, St. Joseph’s National School, Scoil na nAingeal Naofa and Abbey Community College who handcrafted beautiful Christmas Cards, with messages of peace and hope. Students from the local schools gave the most heartfelt performances with carol singing and musical entertainment outside our local nursing homes of Drumderrig Nursing Home, Abbey Haven Nursing Home and The Plunkett Home in Boyle last week.
To our local businesses; Centra, SuperValu, Londis and Corrib Oil who very kindly donated sweet treats for all the Nursing Home residents.
To the Nursing Homes – their staff and residents for facilitating this project and your warm hospitality and appreciation.
The gifts & Christmas cards were delivered to each Nursing Home for the residents therein by Santa, the wonderful elf and their helpers from Boyle Garda Station.
To all who made “Nollaig Le Cheile – Boyle” such a wonderful experience your time, efforts and generosity are greatly appreciated.
