Geraldine Dwyer is pictured presenting a cheque to Catherine Davitt representing the Mayo Roscommon Hospice.
The cheque was the proceeds of a bucket collection held on Bonfire Night June 23rd at the home of Geraldine and Willie Dwyer in Mockmoyne, Boyle.
The Dwyer family have kept the tradition of Bonfire Night alive and had two bands playing in their garden on the night.
Neighbours, relatives and friends enjoyed the event into the small hours of June 24th.
The monies raised at the collection will go towards Palliative Care.
The Dwyer family and the Mayo Roscommon Hospice thank all who donated for their generosity.
