Centre Parcs project gets the go ahead
The midlands area is in line for a jobs boost with news that An Bord Pleanála has approved planning permission for a holiday village in Ballymahon, Co. Longford with ‘revised conditions’.
The €223m Center Parcs development will cater for 2,500 guests, create 1,000 jobs once operational and around 750 positions during the construction phase.
Clearing and site works will now commence with an anticipated construction start date early next year.
The company hope to have the holiday village completed and open for business in 2019
