Today is another big day for the Boyle Celtic FC as the clubs U11’s have been chosen to appear at the Sligo Rovers v Shamrock Rovers match which kicks off at 3pm on Sunday 1st June in the Showgrounds.
This afternoon is a must-win match for the Sligo side, already trailing league leaders Dundalk by a gaping 14 points as the halfway stage approaches.
The visitors, in turn, are seven points ahead of Sligo and a win this afternoon would leave them in clear possession of third place, leapfrogging the in-form champions St Patricks Athletic.
