Gardaí in Castlerea are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body of a woman in a private residence in Kilglass, Co. Roscommon this morning, Saturday 27th May 2023.
The woman (aged in her 30s) was discovered unresponsive this morning, Saturday 27th May 2023 shortly before 9am. The body of the woman was removed from the scene to University Hospital Galway.
A post-mortem examination will be conducted by the Office of the State Pathologist, tomorrow Sunday 28th May 2023, the results of which will determine the course of the investigation.
The scene at Kilglass, Co. Roscommon is currently preserved for a technical examination.
