Two males were taken to Sligo University Hospital on Monday evening following an incident at the Wooden Bridge in Boyle.
A car entered the water at 6pm close to the flyover on the N4.
Gardai were quickly on the scene and assisted in the rescue of both males.
Three Garda cars, two ambulances and two fire brigade appliances were in attendance.
The condition of those involved is not believed to be life threatening.
