What is usually a quiet time in the cycling world will change this weekend for Curlieu Wheelers members with two off season events to be attended.
On Saturday the annual Geevagh Charity Cycle will take place with 80k and 20k routes on offer.
Registration is from 10.30am in Paddys Bar with the cycle commencing at 11.30am.
This is always and enjoyable day out and it is hoped as many members as possible will attend.
Then on Sunday another local event takes place, this time it’s the Stonepark Warrrior Challenge in Cloonloo.
There is the option of a 30k cycle and 8k run in the form of a Duathlon or you can cycle the 30k or walk/run the 8k.
Registration from Cloonloo Hall at 10.45am with 11.30am start.
A number of club members intend cycling to Cloonloo to participate, leaving the Crescent at 10.30am sharp.
There is no official club cycle this Sunday.
