Boyle to feature on ‘Eco Eye’ TV programme
Boyle will feature on Tuesday evening’s episode of ‘Eco Eye’ on RTE1 at 7pm.
A film crew led by well known TV presenter Duncan Stewart visited the town on Friday December 20th to film a segment on spatial planning and how Boyle is working towards repopulation of the town centre.
A number of local people were interviewed for the programme in addition to representatives of Roscommon County Council.
The episode will be available on the RTE player on Wednesday with a repeat the following Monday night. It will also be available on YouTube about 5 weeks after the air date.
Eco Eye is Ireland’s longest running, environmental TV series, now in production for its 15th season. One of the most popular television shows on Irish television and for over 100 episodes, they have examined environmental issues both home and abroad.
