Boyle was well represented last night at the second Annual St. Patrick’s Day Foundation Gala Dinner held in the New York Athletic club in New York City.
The dinner was held to honour John T Ahern the 2014 Grand Marshal of this year’s parade and Mary Higgins Clarke, world renowned author and 2011 Grand Marshal whose father was from Roscommon who is a cousin of Corrigenroe natives Bill and the late Al Corcoran.
The aim of the Foundation is to support the New York St. Patrick’s Day Parade and related activities and to celebrate the contributions of the Irish to American society, with student scholarships, educational iniatives, publications and an ambitious year round programme of social and culture events.
