Three Boyle men are among a group of cyclists who are this weekend starting the final leg of their epic cycle from Elphin to the Rock of Gibraltar.
Noel Hanmore, Tommy McCauley and Jack McCauley are joined by John Murray Elphin ,Gerry Mcloughlin Drumshanbo , Gerry Beirne Elphin, James Grelis Castlebar, Gary Brennan Elphin, Jim Keane Elphin , Martin Higgins Elphin, John Denash Elphin, Jim Keogh Elphin, Brian Farrell Tulsk, Seamus Cox Curraghroe, Ronan Gavigan, Steven Conor, John Carlos (all Four Mile House), Ollie Brogan Dublin and Cyril McKenna Ballinagare.
The fourth year of their cycle sees the group pedal from Madrid to Gibraltar on 23rd to 28th August 2019.
Each member is funding their own trip with all fundraising going to Western Alzheimers.
