The Breadwinner – the new animated film by Cartoon Saloon has been nominated for a 2018 Golden Globe award
Kilkenny based Cartoon Saloon was formed by Boyle man Paul Young and Tomm Moore and Nora Twomey in 1999.
From award-winning shorts to feature films and TV series, Cartoon Saloon has carved a special place in the international Animation industry.
The Breadwinner joins The Boss Baby, Ferdinand, Coco and Loving Vincent in the Best Motion Picture (Animated) section.
The awards will be held in the Beverly Hilton Hotel on the evening of Sunday, January 7, 2018
