Boyle links to All Ireland Final
This Sunday sees Roscommon club Fuerty participate in the all Ireland Club JFC Final in Croke Park.
It is a fantastic achievement for a small club like Fuerty to get to an All Ireland where they will take on Two-Mile-House from Kildare.
And as one might expect – there are Boyle connections with the team.
St. Josephs Boys National School teacher Sean Melia lines out in the half back line and his students will no doubt be shouting him on from Boyle with a few understood to be planning a trip to the capital.
Also involved with the team is Boyle man Jonathon Conroy.
Of course, Boyle GAA stalwart Tony Conboy is a proud Fuerty man who will be supporting his native parish team in their greatest day on Sunday.
