Best wishes are extended to Abbey College Boyle Girls basketball team who are in All Ireland action today Thursday May 2nd.
They take on Colaiste Muire from Ennis in the Minor C All Ireland Schools League semi final at 1pm in the National Basketball Arena in Tallaght.
Should they win the semi final, they will meet either St Mary’s from Ballina or Our lady of Lourdes Rosbercon in the final.
This will be played at 3.30pm.
Meanwhile, St Josephs’s BNS and Corrigeenroe NS will participate in the SPAR FAI Primary School 5s Connacht Champions today.
They will be among 27 schools who will take part in the six section finals in Castlebar today.
St. Joseph’s BNS first qualified out of Connacht in 2006 with third at the Nationals, this was followed up a year later with a winner’s medal in the ‘B’ Cup.
