It’s all systems go for this weekend’s annual ‘Rock the Clock’ festival in Boyle.
Following on from this week’s successful Boyle Arts Festival, Rock the Clock is taking place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the August Bank Holiday weekend.
Organised by the operators of two Boyle licensed premises – Mattimoe’s Bar (Barry Simon & Joe Ryan) and the Moylurg Inn (Aaron Sharkey), the festival commences on Friday 2nd and runs through to Sunday August 4th with an exciting lineup planned for the weekend.
Friday night street music will commence at 10pm outside the Moylurg Inn with The Martyrs
Saturday night street music will commence at 10pm outside Mattimoes with Audio Pilot followed by a Fireworks display at approximately 11pm
Sunday is Family Fun Day on the Crescent with bouncy castles, face painting, music and nibbles from 1pm until 4pm.
The ever popular Duck Race will take place on the Boyle River at 5.30pm Sunday and ducks are still available for purchase.
Music later Sunday night outside the Moylurg with The Troubadours who will bring the curtain down on the weekend.

- The organisers request owners of animals to please keep them indoors on Saturday night during the Fireworks display.
