Boyle GAA club weekly update

As our club activities are currently suspended, Boyle GAA has decided to launch a fundraising campaign in aid of the local Brothers of Charity to get people moving. Our aim is to raise funds by asking people to firstly donate to the gofundme page (link https://www.gofundme.com/f/boyles-covid-1900-km-challenge?utm_source=customer&utm_medium=copy_link-tip&utm_campaign=p_cp+share-sheet) and thereafter track the distance of any walk/run you do during the month of May. You only need to donate once!

Jackie Valentine is the club coordinator and you can send the distance you have walked/run each time you exercise to her by text (086 320 0915) to be logged. Your distances can not be added to the total unless you have made at least one donation to the gofundme page. Our target is to run/walk 1900km collectively in May.

So take the dog out for a stroll, go for a family walk or escape for a run, every kilometre you complete and every euro you donate will get us closer to our target*.

100% of the money raised will go to the Brothers of Charity. This challenge is not restricted to Boyle GAA club members and wewould ask you to spread the word to your neighbours, friends, family etc.

LET’S ALL TRY TO DO SOMETHING POSITIVE IN THESE DIFFICULT TIMES!

*Please comply with all government guidelines regarding exercise and
social distancing.
