There was no winner of last weeks jackpot. The numbers drawn were 4, 8, 25 and 30. €20 winners were Michael and Sheila Furey, Sinead Conroy and Joe Rooney. Next weeks draw will take place in Dodds.
The club would like to extend a warm welcome to two new members to the Senior panel. They are Seamus Kane, originally from Donegal and Sean Conlon, originally from Dublin.
Further a field a club man is making his mark in GAA. Tadgh Lowe has been nominated for New York player of the year. Tadgh plays with the Kerry club as an “out field player”. This is a massive achievement as he has competition from many ex-county players also. The New York County Board dinner dance is on the 10th of March and we wish him all the best.
Finally in the Ladies notes, U 16 championship Rd 1 was postponed due to weather. Round 2 v Clann na nGael will be in the Abbey Park Sunday the 11th of March at 4pm.
