Minor Club:
Boyle U12 A and B team played in the Cliffiord Cup recently. Both teams were drawn in a very strong group of Castlebar, St Marys Sligo and Killmacud Crokes of Dublin. Both teams played very well against very strong opposition. The B team were unlucky not to win two of their games. The A team beat Castlebar in their first game, in the second game St Marys in the first half had lead that in 2nd half Boyle managed to narrow lead with some fine play but not enough in the end. With the final game against the famous Dublin club Killmacud Crokes our lads were not overawed and the kept the Dublin team a bay for many periods with some fine defending. Well done to players and coaches.
