As action on the playing fields draws to a close for 2015, our attention turns to our biggest social event of the year–the Annual Christmas Quiz and Awards Night which will be held in St Joseph’s Hall on Sunday evening next 27th December at 7.30pm (please note early starting time. This year we have teamed up with Magees Fashion Shop and Aidan Ray Menswear who will sponsor “his” and “hers” vouchers worth €200 for the winning team. Entry is €10 per person who can make up teams of 4. Tony Conboy is preparing a set of interesting and intriguing questions to suit all age categories. There will be a large selection of spot prizes and most patrons will bring home something. The night will feature the Player of the Year Awards for senior, junior and U21s (male) and intermediate (ladies as well as the presentation of medals), as well as medal presentations to our successful junior mens’ team. All players are asked to attend to receive their medals and other awards. We will also present the Club Person of the Year and Hall of Fame Award.
The Clubs (male and female) extend Seasons Greetings to all our players, mentors, sponsors, supporters, officials, media, and the many people who support our fortnightly Club Lotto.
