Boyle Fire Service, along with their colleagues from Ballaghaderreen, attended a house fire in the early hours of Friday morning.
The fire service were alerted to the outbreak at the home of an elderly couple at Edmonstown on the Gurteen Road at approximately 5am.
Two units of Roscommon Fire service attended.
Two people were brought to hospital following the fire as a precautionary measure.
