The McGovern Directional Drilling sponsored senior Boyle team ground out a 1- 13 draw against Padraig Pearses in the Abbey Park on Sunday in the O’Rourke Cup-Division 1 League.
While the league point brings them to 5th in the league table, the game should have been won by a large margin as numerous scoring chances were squandered.
The workrate, however, was encouraging and if opportunities can be converted, Boyle should be able to enhance our league position in the 5 remaining games.
Well done to the U12 Division 5 team on their great win in their semi final, also against Pearses in Abbey Park on Sunday.
It is understood that they will play St Barrys in the final.
