SHORT MAT BOWLING IN BOYLE

Short Mat Bowling has resumed  in St. Josephs Hall each Wednesday. It will take place from 7pm until 9pm. Newcomers most welcome. Tuition given to new members

BROGANS TOTALHEALTH OPERATION TRANSFORATION

Commencing each and every Thursday from the Shop Street Car Park at 8pm for a 5km walk. All welcome to come along and join Melissa for a fun healthy walk.

CURLIEU WHEELERS CYCLING CLUB

The Club will hold the launch of their new club kit and a new member night in Daly’s on Bridge Street this Thursday January 25th at 8.30pm. On the night the new club gear will be unveiled. This is an opportunity also for anyone who would like to join the club in 2018 to come along and meet current members. Finger food will be served and all are welcome.

CURLEW WALKERS CLUB

The next meeting of the Curlew Walkers will be taking  place on Sunday 4th February, meeting on the Crescent at 10am. Your leader’s for the day on the day will be Tom Browne 0872379 632 and Darragh Kelly 086 1731 517. this will be a Cllimb/Grade B/C. Cuilcagh from Ballyvally Gap/ Knocknare. ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING.

The AGM of Boyle & District Angling Club will take place in The Patricks Well Boyle on Wednesday 7th February 2018 at 8.30pm.  All members are requested to attend.


BALLINAMEEN NS ENROLMENT

Enrolment forms for Scoil Naomh Eoin, Ballinameen, Boyle, Co. Roscommon are now available for collection at the school office. These are for the 2018/19 term. Forms must be returned by Friday February 9th.

MINDING YOUR HEALTH’ AT BOYLE LIBRARY

Roscommon County Council Library Service are planning to provide a number of free health programmes in February titled “Minding Your Health”. In Boyle there are three events planned: Tuesday February 13th Yoga and Mindfulness: the psychical and mental benefits – mindful movement, mindful eating and mindful living (6.30pm to 7.30pm) Tuesday February 20th Better Health Tips: A guide to eating well to nourish both body and mind (6.30pm to 7.30pm) Tuesday February 27th De-Stress in mind and body for 2018 (6.30pm to 7.30pm) The events are run in conjunction with ‘Healthy Ireland’ – a Government led national strategy to improve health and wellbeing.

BOYLE GOLF CLUB

Fixtures have been released for 2018, upcoming highlights include the Spring League taking place over 3 weekends in February and the Captains Drive In on the 25th of February.

Galway and Roscommon Education and Training Board have announced details of their Spring 2018 training courses in Boyle. Level 6 Work Experience for 12 nights in Roscommon Learning Links commencing Wednesday 24th January 7pm until10pm. First Aid Response for 3 Saturdays in Roscommon Learning Links on 7th, 14th and 21st April 9.30am until 4.30pm. First Aid Response Renewal in Roscommon Learning Links on Saturday 27th January/ 3rd February 9.30am to 4.30pm. Boyle & District Angling Club. Easter Pike Angling Festival will take place on Saturday 31st March, and Sunday 1st April 2018.

The Market takes place every Saturday in the Grounds of King House, Boyle from 10am until 2pm… If you would like to enjoy the best locally grown fresh and organic produce, then a trip to the Courtyard Market should be on your agenda.
