Roscommon and District League report: With their nearest rivals not playing, Boyle Celtic stretched their lead at the top of the Raftery’s Oakland Hotel Premier Division of the Roscommon and District League to four points following a hard earned 3 -1 win over Cloonfad United at Cloonfad. Ryan Merchant gave Cloonfad United a 1 – 0 lead after fifteen minutes of play. Enda Smith levelled the game before half time and Michael Corrigan scored his eight league goal of the season to give Boyle Celtic a 2 – 1 lead early in the second half. Luka Roddy sealed the three points with a late third goal.
