Congratulations to Boyle Celtic player Colin Burke who is heading across the Atlantic to the USA on a soccer scholarship to Dakota.
In a statement Boyle Celtic says “We’ve no doubt this very talented young man will be a huge success over there”.
“Colin has been a huge part of the under 18s and adult first team this season. Our under 18s are in Connacht semi final action this weekend. The first team had a very good FAI Cup run and continue to challenge for league and Cup glory in the Roscommon league. He’s had a huge part to play on all fronts”.
“Hopefully Colin will be heading to the USA with a pocket full of medals”!!
“A couple of seasons ago, ‘Celtic player James Bolger moved to the USA, similarly, to college in Iowa. Its great to see our Boyle Celtic players getting these opportunities and is testament to the hard work of coaches and players alike”.
