A large and appreciative audience were in Creighton’s Lounge in Boyle on Saturday afternoon for the local launch of Julian Vignoles “A Delicate Wildness” the Life and Loves of David Thomson, 1914-1988.
The book is the first exploration of the contribution-and soul-of a relatively unsung but uniquely talented man. This resonant biography boasts more than fifty unseen photographs.
Guests were welcomed by Sylvia Creighton who went on to introduce Julian who spoke about David Thompson and his life.
Following a question and answer session, Julian signed copies of the book for those in attendance.
