Body located of Ballyfarnon woman
The body of missing Ballyfarnon woman Christina Lavin was located during the week.
59 year old Christina Lavin was originally from Creevagh between Kilmactranny and Ballyfarnon.
She had been missing for almost three weeks from her Kilmainham Dublin home.
There had been a large scale search of the north county Dublin area since Ms Lavin was last seen near Bray.
Her body was found on Tyrella Beach in the Newcastle area of Co Down on Tuesday.
Gardaí are not treating the death as suspicious.
Christina will repose at Shivnan’s Funeral Home, Ballyfarnon Saturday evening from 6p.m. until 9p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Brigid’s Church, Highwood on Sunday afternoon at 1.00 o’clock. Interment immediately afterwards in Kilmactranny Cemetery.
She is missed by her loving mother Rita, brothers Tommy, Michael and Austin, sisters Dolores (Birmingham), Pauline, Angela (Leixlip), brother-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and her many friends.
