County Roscommon will feature tonight on the first of a six part TV programme – “Daniel and Majella’s B&B Road Trip” .
There was worldwide reaction last week to the video clip from the programme of Anne Sheerin’s reaction to Daniel’s arrival at her Tulsk B&B.
Anne is married to St. Patrick Street Boyle native Noel Sheerin.
On staying with the Sheerin’s Daniel said “Everything was just beautiful.” “It was our first stop and we couldn’t have had a better place to start. Anne gave us such a welcome, and we went down to The Tulsk Inn and we had a night of dancing and singing. It was just what you would expect.
“Anne made us feel like we were living there forever. If was like we were part of the family, they couldn’t have been better hosts.”
Daniel said of Anne, who runs the B&B with her retired husband Noel: “She epitomises what you want when you stay at a B&B. She knows the area, she’s vibrant, she loves her B&B and you can’t help but be enthused by her when you are staying there. It’s just everything you want out of a holiday.
Daniel and Majella also visited Lough Key on their journey and it is hoped that this segment will also feature tonight.
Daniel and Majella’s B&B Road Trip is aired on UTV Ireland on Monday 26 October at 8pm.
