A meeting will take place tonight Wednesday 19th October in Ballaghaderreen to decided how the town can spend €440,000 that it has accumulated.
The meeting, which would be the envy of many towns, has come about after the monies were collected over a period of years for a swimming pool that never materialised.
It is understood that an additional €500,000 could become available to the town in government funding if the community opts to develop a dry sports project in the town.
The meeting will be held in Durkin’s Bar and Restaurant at 7.30pm
