An Post Ras passes through county
There will be some traffic delays in the county on Monday morning as the nine day An Post Ras international cycle race passes through Roscommon.
The 195 riders and their entourage will leave Longford at 11am and are scheduled to pass through Ballyleague at 11.17am and Roscommon town 11.35am.
The riders will exit Roscommon town on the N63 heading to Ballymoe and onto the stage finish in Newport.
Spectators in the north of the county will have another chance to see The Ras on Tuesday as it passes threough Ballisodare (13.15pm) and Sligo (13.25pm).
The riders in An Post Rás are a mixture of Irish and international cyclists so it’s a chance to see some of the best international racing talent on your doorstep.
Monoco based Roscommon cyclist Dara Feely is also taking part as a member of the Galway Team iTap.
