Boyle Gardai have arrested a man this evening (Tuesday 25th) following an aggravated burglary at the Topaz Motor Works shop and filling station on Shop Street.
A man, brandishing was is believed to have been a knife, entered the store at approximately 9.20pm.
He escaped with a sum of money.
In a follow up operation, a male was arrested and is currently being detained at Boyle Garda Station.
No body was inured in the incident.
