National Spring Clean is Ireland’s most popular, well recognized and successful anti-litter initiative.
Taking place during the whole month of April and now in its 26th year, the campaign encourages every sector of society to actively participate and take responsibility for litter, by actually conducting clean ups in their own local environment.
Volunteers are invited to register individually or in groups to receive a free clean-up kit and take part in the annual event.
Last year, the National Spring Clean campaign in Roscommon saw over 100 clean-ups organized. Well done to all involved.

An Taisce and Roscommon County Council provide National Spring Clean Green and Clear bags for collection of litter – only.
Please make sure that the bags will contain litter waste only, as any green waste or household waste in the clean-up bags cannot be collected
