One lucky lotto player in the area is €97,236 richer this week after matching five numbers plus the bonus ball in Saturday night’s lotto draw.
The winning ticket was purchased in McCormack’s shop in Leitrim Village.
The €1m lotto Plus One prize was won in Ballynacargy in Co Westmeath.
The winning numbers were 2, 6, 7, 16, 25, 27 and the bonus number was 19.
Speaking on the wins, National Lottery CEO, Dermot Griffin said: “I encourage all of our Westmeath and Leitrim players to check their tickets to see if they have won any of these prizes.
